Freshmen presented the results of their individual research in the gym on May 3. From Mr. Litzelman, one of the supervising teachers:
“About 400 freshmen from Mr. Usrey’s, Mr. Noah’s, Ms. Blumberg-Long’s, and my classes have been working tirelessly on a 12-week project investigating a topic or issue that matters to them and their community, ranging from police brutality to toxic masculinity to OUSD funding and beyond. From 9:00 am to 11:45 am in the gymnasium, freshmen will share their research, answering questions from their peers, teachers, families, and community members about issues that matter to them.”
